Deepa is an Indian-American actor and writer from Rochester, New York, where she started acting at age 5, singing at age 8 and playing instruments at age 9. During college, she studied music education. However, she was kicked out of her program because her "voice wasn't developing fast enough." She then transferred schools and moved to London.She went on to receive a Bachelor's of Music, in Classical Vocal Performance, and a Master's in Music Psychotherapy from University of Roehampton in London. After finishing her studies, she stayed for an extra year, working as a Music Psychotherapist at a psychiatric hospital.After moving back to the US, Deepa became a USTA and ITA certified tennis umpire. Less than a year into her initial certification, she worked at her first ITF event.It is around this time that she decided to pursue acting seriously, by taking classes locally for a couple of years. In 2016, she booked a role in "The Bold and the Beautiful," where CBS held auditions nationwide. She now lives in Los Angeles.Deepa also loves to garden, cook, and hosts a podcast professing her love of k-dramas and k-pop. Hide
