Lauren Clinton, a native of Southern California, born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County, began acting and singing at a very young age. Starting in local theater and singing in local venues, she developed her talents and was fortunate to have been cast in a few critically acclaimed theatrical productions, one of which was nominated for the industry respected LADCC award, and won a Back Stage West Garland award. She and the cast were invited to perform the opening number for the 2004 LA Ovation Awards Show held at the historical Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. After building her resume with ten short films, and eleven on stage performances, Lauren was cast in her first major motion picture; Walt Disney Pictures/Walden Media's "Bridge to Terabithia" (2007). Lauren plays the films nemesis in the role of Janice Avery. The cast from this film went on to win the "Young Artist Awards" "Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Ensemble Cast" in the year 2008.Over the years Lauren has always remained focused on her singing and songwriting. in 2011 Lauren moved to London, England to study music as well as write and perform her own music.In addition to performing, Lauren enjoys traveling and writing.
