Max Beard was born in Salisbury, Maryland and grew up in Florida. Beginning at the age of sixteen he taught himself how to play the guitar, sing, and write his songs. At the age of nineteen he moved to New York City and then shortly after decided to take up acting. He studied method acting at John Strasberg Studios before landing his first role in a low budget feature.In 2005 Max moved to Los Angeles where he studied and earned a degree in video production.
