People see movies to escape, they want to experience a different perspective on life. I hope my movies will cause a reaction in someone, and they'll change something about themselves for the better. I want people to relate to what they're watching, to see the uniqueness in each story. I want to evoke something. Even if people don't like a film of mine, if they talk about it and if it causes them to think and speak to one another, to have human interaction, well then I've done my part. I hope people take away some sort of catharsis, personal or external. And at the end of it all, I hope that what they saw stays with them a day later. Hide
