Since he suffered from Bronchial Asthma, his mother was told by the doctor to get her three sons, including Rae, into sports that teach proper breathing. At 6 years old, Rae started training in Boxing with his father and shortly thereafter began Aikido. He trained and studied Filipino Knife Fighting and Kali (Iron Stick) martial arts from his father, who has influenced him to train 100% in both Boxing and Filipino Martial Arts. In addition he is also trained in Northern Shaolin (Sil Lum) Kung Fu, Won Hop Kuen Do, Wing Chun, Lima Lama, Chin Na (Grab and Lock), Jeet Kune Do, Chinese Weaponry and Thai Kick Boxing.Rae Manzon created a eclectic style of martial arts "Fut Sau Kune Do" which also means Fut (wise/Guarding) Sau (hands) Kune (Fighting/Protecting) Do (Style/Way). He enjoys teaching young and old, when they see something new and useful it appeases Rae to train more. Now Rae has been involved in the Drunken Style Boxing, because the children are constantly laughing and having fun with the style while he performs it at tournaments and demonstrations. Rae has placed first at major national tournaments throughout the United States.He placed first for 3 consecutive years at the "World Championship Competition" in Las Vegas, Nevada, earning him the well-deserved title of World Champion. Rae Manzon has also worked in the Executive Protection Agency (Bodyguard) for Chuck Norris, other Celebrities and Political Officials. He also trained Navy Seals, L.A. Sheriffs, Glendale P.D. and LAPD in hand to hand combat.Rae is now overseeing the Security (personal body guard) for Pastor Che Ahn, formerly called Harvest Rock Church now called HRock Church in Pasadena, Ca.
