He transferred to University of Denver to study broadcasting.Began hosting the Captain Penny TV show on WEWS-TV in Cleveland, Ohio on March 2, 1955. The show featured Three Stooges and Little Rascals episodes for its 16-year run with live appearances of Captain Penny and guests.
