Shawn Alonzo Fitzwater was born December 21, 1978 in Anderson, Indiana, to Cynthia K. (Smith) and Douglas Alonzo Fitzwater. At a very young age his father joined the army which relocated the family to Killeen, Texas, where also his younger sibling (5 years) Ryan was born. His parents eventually divorced and he and his brother lived with their mother which moved to Meridian, Mississippi and then later moved once again to live with his father in Birmingham, Alabama and finish his education through high school.Throughout high school Shawn worked as an usher at the local movie theater which helped fuel a dream he had since a child to make it on the big screen some day. Out of high school Shawn met his future wife and got engaged then married at the early age of 20. He found a blue collar job in the land surveying field which he spent the next 18 years before moving on to start his own advertising agency and also recently began hand painting murals and signage for local businesses.Shawn discovered his love for doing background work in film when a family member suggested he sign up for a local Birmingham casting call in late 2017. That experience has led him to pursue more background work and continue to build skill and knowledge in the film industry.Shawn resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife of 19 years, Shannon Renee Taylor Fitzwater and three sons, Gabe (13), Noah (7), and Fin (1 month).
