Oliver and Company
The life of Oliver, a kind but homeless cat, who has a very miserable life and struggles against having a place to live in and food to eat, has been changed completely, after meeting a young rich girl who cares of him and saves it from the dangerous gang of dogs that kidnapped him and forced him to do horrible doings.

Despite three screenwriters and 13 names credited for the story, the script quickly sinks into a predictable 'girl-meets-pet, girl-loses-pet, girl-and -pet-reunite' sap-trap.

The animation is fairly unexciting though serviceable, and the overall mystification of class difference would probably have made Dickens shudder, but kids should find this tolerable enough.

At just 74 minutes, Oliver and Company is one of the shortest full-length features from Disney, but there's a lot packed into it. While no one will ever mistake Oliver and Company for one of the Disney's golden oldies, it's still doggone entertaining.
