Small Time
A young man (Devon Bostick) decides to skip college and join his father (Christopher Meloni) as a used-car salesman. Despite his mother’s strong objections, he goes to work at the lot, quickly proving himself no slouch when it comes to manipulating customers.

Small Time is an appropriate title for this period piece dramedy, the type of film whose meandering tone and lack of stakes inform savvy viewers of the fact that it's 'inspired by true events' even without benefit of a credits title card.
