Description
Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king of Halloween Town, is tired of the same old thing every year: the monsters come out and perform a real scare. One day he stumbles into Christmas Town, and is so taken with the idea of Christmas that he tries to get the resident bats, ghouls, and goblins of Halloween town to help him put on Christmas instead of Halloween. But the atmosphere is not conducive to Jack's newfound sensibility.

Animation is a wonderful medium, but it's almost too compatible with Burton's uninhibited approach. When literally anything goes, even the most original idea can get lost in the creative shuffle.
