The Old Man and the Sea
The Old Man and the Sea follows an aging fisherman, a Cuban fisherman who has gone 84 days without a catch, who hooks a gigantic fish that drags him out to sea on the 85th day.

The 1958 film, made six years after publication of the book, is a faithful adaptation - virtually a word-for-word copy of Hemingway's dialogue and prose - that is not without its faults.
