While this film is true to its predecessor, it does have a distinct direct-to-DVD feel to it.

Impressively freaky, with creepy ambiance to spare. And with a roach motel kind of no checking out policy, at least not in this lifetime, the chiller also intimates a darkly humorous undercurrent about US culture's violence over sex preference.
