In the exciting Seventh season, we are subjected to a new series of powerful events. One of the events: After surrendering to the police because she is considered the green arrow, Oliver tries to stay alive in prison after new committees have appeared in Star City. On the other hand, Felicity is trying to find Diaz in whatever way she was while Oliver is forced to blindly ally with an old enemy. In prison Oliver will face many challenges and situations.

When the ladies of Arrow are showcased, it proves there is still a lot of life left in the Arrow franchise because of how long it took for each character to come into their own.

Like the initial feeling of getting replacement Laurel all those episodes ago, this feels hollow, like a token attempt at rectification with no real heart.

After seeing the redemption story they've pushed for Laurel so hard the past season or two, it's frustrating to see her so immediately decide to fall back into old habits -- and it also felt forced to see her so quickly turn back to good, again.

"Lost Canary" is the long-awaited Birds of Prey encounter that we had been waiting on and, to make matters even better, it finally placed the focus on one of the richest characters on the show... The season's strongest outing yet.

It took way too long to get to this point where an all-female mission is possible, but I'm glad we finally get one before the show ends next season.

Though the episode is filled with a lot of back and forth between "she's good!" and "she was never on our side" from Felicity and Dinah, all of it is done in enough of a meaningful way to make it worth while.
