The third season offers a variety of powerful and criminal events, where Sipowicz seems quite upset about what happens during that period, especially when federal agents investigate the disappearance of a millionaire. On the other hand, Simon helps an old friend on a mission. Meanwhile, there is a petty criminal going back to those past acts with information about the kidnapping, where Sipowicz seems to decide to work on that case.
