Description
The third season begins with a new drama after he defeated Clive Barnes where he was able to fully take over his company. Now, the Owings unite spontaneously, and Sue Ellen is planning a wedding for John Ross and Pamela during that time but the cooperative relationship between them cannot last for long. On the other hand, John Ross seems to be on a bad track with Bobby because of his joint ownership of the controversial Southfork farm.

If things feel a little contrived, or a lot contrived, that's hardly a first for the show. They're also tangled and messy and dastardly with a real shot at becoming sordid. That's a good start.
