Description

It was not easy for Carney Powell to offer comfort to her younger son, Kenan, who suffers from rare cellular disorder, asthma, and allergies. Everything was worse than the dust and mold live in their home in Arlita, California. Doctors told Carrie that Kenan would not live to see his first birthday. Determined not to give up hope, Carrie, a trade florist, turned into a weed garden to help Kenan deal with his illnesses. Kenan has managed to overcome the odds, and is now 16 years old wearing a 15-foot shoe, 6 feet long.
