Description
It is a new series of action and drama that complement the events of the previous season. The season begins where Trudy is torn between love and duty when she discovers that her lover's boyfriend is linked to a big cocaine distributor in town. On the other hand, a journalist known to Crockett in Vietnam seems prepared to change things through a strange story about the 'sergeant' - a mysterious legend believed to be related to the shipment of heroin along with the physical bags.

At its best... "St. Elsewhere" is the most intelligently- written program on the air, and, even at its worst, "Miami Vice" is the most cinematically rewarding. That is not to say, as others have, that "Miami Vice" is a victory of style over content...

Sure, the hair (on both men and women) was a little pouffy, but the scripts were tight, and it was fun to see, among the guest-starring actors, musicians such as Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, and Leonard Cohen.

Most notably we are served up some very familiar Mann-erisms from the show's creator, and 20 years on this still holds up as a decent and influential cop show.

Only the highly innovative first two seasons really hold up, with a few good episodes scattered through the third season but not much beyond that.
