Norman and his guest this week seem to have set up an open road to explore the culture of local cyclists and to celebrate the best and brightest car collectors, mechanics and artisans in what appears to be the world's most powerful field.

The appeal for many fans may be more the getting-to-know-you aspect of the show than the access Reedus is given to both celebrity friends and movers and shakers in the motorcycle industry, as is made evident in the premiere episode.

The show admirably swings for the poetic democracy of the most famous road-trip chronicles and it succeeds more often than you might think it would.
