Southland - Season 2
The criminal facts continue in an exciting second season and events begin as Ben Sherman is about to complete the second phase of his junior year. During the third phase, he will be allowed to conduct individual patrols. Partners Detective Adams and Brown have been appointed new partners. René Cordeiro, Adam's new partner, obsessed with receiving glory and press coverage. Their first case involves the search for an elderly man who left his home with an unknown black man. Brown's new partner 'Slug' Ferguson quickly proves how he got this title when riots began during the traffic jam.

This cop drama has so many strong performances and enough nuanced writing that it remains one of the better dramas currently in prime time.
